SILVER CREEK, WA – Getting out and hitting the road in your RV doesn’t have to be too complicated. When it comes to how I like to travel in my 2018 Winnebago Travato 59g, it really starts with asking myself just a couple of questions before anything.
How far do I want to drive? Can I find a spot in a new location that I’ve never been to? What does the actual site look like? How expensive is it and what kinds of things are there to do at the location.
After I figure out the answers to those basic questions, I usually go online to try and book a site Here are some of the websites I use to find cool places to stay:
“Washington State Parks”… https://washington.goingtocamp.com/
“Snohomish County Parks”… https://reservations.snocoparks.org/
“Recreation. Gov”… https://www.recreation.gov/
“Hip Camp”… https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US
These are the basics when it comes to how I plan and travel. Yes sometimes I’ll miss out on some spots because I don’t book too far out in advance. And when you go through the video, you’ll see some of the reasoning behind that.
The bottom line for me ultimately though is I just want to get out and explore. Enjoy the RV and enjoy the experience. What are some tips you have for finding your perfect spots when you RV?
