BRINNON, WA – Sleeping on the road in your car can be difficult Ive already gone through a couple of modifications regarding how I like to do it and now I’m doing it again and sharing it with you.

When I first got into car camping, it was back in Wisconsin and my first time out, I thought I did a decent job laying out my bed.

Earlier this this year, when I hit the road in and around Seattle, I made a slight change to the set up and for the most part it worked well.

Now I’m trying another version of my sleeping quarters after picking up a “KingChii Mattress Pad.” The hope with this set up, is that by adding this mattress pad on top of my trifold mattress, I might get some more padding and a more comfortable sleep.

I’ll be honest, I’m not quite sure the new mattress pad did the job. Part of the reason is, there were no instructions so I’m not entirely sure I set it up correctly. I’m going to keep playing with this set up to see if I can get it a little better, if not I’ll just keep doing what Ive been doing, because I wasn’t having bad sleep, I just thought this might help make it better.
