CASTLE ROCK, WA – So far this year, I’ve been out a couple of times, first at “Ike Kinswa State Park” and then a second time at “Flowing Lake County Park.”  Two really good trips so far, so finding a spot for a third trip was going to be tough, but I found a spot, not too far from Seattle to RV, “Seaquest State Park in Castle Rock Washington.

Here’s the 411 on the trip:

  • 2-nights, after taxes it worked out to be $68.00 dollars or $34.00 per night
  • I stayed in site 16, it was a back in site with water and electric, although because it was the winter, the water was shut off.  The site was fairly level, however I was originally in site 13 which was not level and I had to move.
  • I did not have cell service, between 0-1 bars. I have AT&T.
  • I watched 2 movies during my stay for an overall movie count in 2025 of: 6
    • “Chasing Amy”
    • ”Big Night”

– The facilities:

*The park has 52 standard campsites, 18 partial hookup sites, 15 full hookups sites, three hiker/biker sites, one dump station, five restrooms (one ADA), and no ADA showers.

*Maximum site length is 50 feet (may have limited availability).

*The north, south, and mid-camp loops are in forest settings. Full hookup sites are available in the T-loop only.

I was easily able to book my reservation online at: https://washington.goingtocamp.com/

According the website:

“Seaquest is a 475-acre, year-round camping park set among lush pines in the shadow of the storied Mount. St. Helen’s volcano. Seaquest Park boasts forested campgrounds, great hiking trails and stunning mountain panoramas. Next door to the campground is Silver Lake. The park is connected to the popular Mount St. Helen’s Interpretive Center, another worthwhile destination, and Silver Lake by a pedestrian tunnel which leads you to a boardwalk trail over the wetland where ducks and other wildlife thrive.”
