SNOHOMISH, WA – So I kicked off my RV season with a cold stop at “Ike Kinswa State Park” and really loved it.  And while it was cold, it wasn’t really snowy.  So I was a little excited when I looked at the weather for my next trip and not only did it have snow in the forecast, it had snowed a couple of nights before AND because of that, Snohomish County Parks, called me and actually had to move me out of my original spot to a new spot because of the snowy weather.  Without a doubt THIS time I was going to be in the snow!

Here’s the 411 on the trip:

  • 2-nights, after taxes it worked out to be $96.00 dollars or $48.00 per night
  • I stayed in site 11, it was a back in site with water and electric, although because it was the winter, the water was shut off.  The site was fairly level. Also, originally I was in site 26, however because of the snow that site was unavailable so they moved me to site 11
  • I did have cell service, between 2-3 bars. I have AT&T.
  • I watched 3 movies during my stay:
    • “Gregory’s Girl”
    • “Ed Wood”
    • “Bagdad Cafe”
    • The overall movie count for 2025: 4

The facilities:

*The park has four cozy cabins and 48 spacious campsites

*The campsites are a blend of partial utility (water/power), drive-up non-utility, and hike-in non-utility sites.

*Due to road limitations, 5th wheels longer than 35′ are not allowed at Flowing lake.

* Please note, there are no septic services at Flowing Lake.

I was easily able to book my reservation online at: https://reservations.snocoparks.org/reservation/camping/

According the website:

“Flowing Lake Regional Park, also known as Leckie’s Beach, is an immensely popular park that offers a variety of recreational activities. The day-use area provides access to the beach and amenities which include a boat launch, fishing dock, playground, picnic tables, picnic shelters and an amphitheater. For those that wish to stay a little longer, the park includes a campground with a mix of cabins and campsites and a heated restroom with showers. A nature trail encompasses a portion of the campground for those seeking a little solitude.”
