Do You Believe in RV Miracles? YESSSSS!

SEATTLE, WA – OK, here’s the deal… the last time we chatted, or maybe the last time you read this blog, I talked about the stress of searching for and buying an RV.  And trust me, the stress is real.

I had hunkered down and settled into what I thought was going to be a long wait.  I guess I started to really dig into searching for my next, “New-2-Me-RV” back in the Fall when I took you all with me to the “Tacoma Fall RV Show.”

At that time, it was the perfect way to see so many RVs up close and personal and it really got me thinking ahead to what could be next.

THE STRESS OF IT ALL

Over the next several months I spent a lot of time looking at RVs in person and online. I had a lot of searches set up for me on “RV Trader” and every day spent time looking on Craigslist and some of the local RV dealerships here in Seattle.  It was almost a secondary job if you will, because as much as I love Car Camping,  I really wanted to find that next rig for me.

So again, I thought I would be in it for the long haul, searching and searching for whatever came next. I even decided to turn my search over to, “The Force!”  Basically, when the right RV found me, I would know it was the one.

AND THEN IT HAPPENED!

So as soon as I decided to let go, all the while keeping an eye out online for any deals, an RV that I had been tracking, had a drastic price drop.  I reached out to the dealer and gave them a price I ultimately felt comfortable with and they… they accepted!  The “Force” worked!

Once there was a deal in place, I found an independent RV inspection company that went and checked it out and with the exception of a few small things that the dealer is taking care of, the rig checked out. I wired them a deposit and went on the hunt for parking here in Seattle!

There are still some things I have to button up, but soon I will be on a plane heading out to pick up my next RV and of course I’ll take you with me.

I can’t believe it… just when I thought it could be months and months searching, the galaxy opened up and showed me the way!

Now I have to pack and get ready for the next phase of this epic adventure!
