GREEN BAY, WI – The hunt is on for my new RV mirror! Well it’s actually been on for awhile, however I finally pulled the trigger after making it through the entire RV season last year and storing the rig this winter.

When I stored my RV in Florida before I came to Northeast Wisconsin, I was pretty lucky. No major issues, except the one… someone hit my RV while it was in storage and damaged the right side mirror.

|GREEN BAY TO TALLAHASSEE & BACK!
I didn’t have a lot of time in Tallahassee to get my rig and get it back, so I didn’t stick around and deal with the storage place to file a claim and that was my bad for sure. I did manage to tape up the mirror, not only good enough to get it back North, but also to make it through the 2020 RV season.
|HOW DID I RV IN 2020? IT WAS CRAZY!
So as I’ve been preparing for the RV season, thanks to some tax return money, I was able to finally pull the trigger and find a replacement mirror. I went online and checked out several site, however found the best deal for replacing the mirror on ebay. I have a Velvac mirror.
I looked at a couple of differed sellers as well as other online spots and ultimately went with a company called, Mill Supply Inc.

They’re on EBay and you can also find them online. They have a ton of parts and the deal was really good. With shipping and taxes, it came out to a total of $269.08. Compared to company direct which would have cost me around over $360.00. So I bit the bullet, ordered the mirror and it’s on the way!
Now when I do get the mirror, this is an RV renovation I think I can do myself, so I’ll attempt it and bring you along the way when I do the renovation. I’m thinking it probably will take a couple of hours to install, at least that’s what I’m hoping for.
