Sunset Kayaking Seminole State Park Georgia

Hitting up a good State Park, there is always so much to do. Usually I get my hike on and love it and Seminole State Park, before and after Hurricane Michael, there is still a lot to explore.

The one thing I had not done during my trips to the park, is get out on the water. Now I definitely tried to stay as close to the water as possible, because I just loved the view, however getting onto the water just never happened… until now!

Right before I headed to the park, they called to let me know they were offering Sunset Kayaking tours of the like and asked if I wanted to try it and I said, “Heck Yeah! Let’s do it.”  I thought and was correct, that exploring the lake from a kayak would be a really cool experience.

It was only $15 bucks to do it. It was a guided tour and the they supplied the kayak, paddles and life vests.  The tour was about an hour out on the lake and it was absolutely fantastic. I would highlight recommend it.

If you’re ever at the park, as you check in, ask about the tours and they’ll hook you up for sure!
