When you find a spot you love, I get it… you want to go back to it over and over and “Seminole State Park” in Georgia is a perfect example of that.
This is a revisit of another park I once stayed at a couple of years ago. I was able to stay there pre-Hurricane Michael and had such a wonderful time there.
Coming back to the park I didn’t know what to expect. It HAS changed a lot because of the hurricane, however it’s still a place that you can do a lot at and that most sites have wonderful views and you can just get lost in relaxing at the park.
The Rving basics:
- I stayed there 5 nights, where after taxes it worked out to be $41.04 per night
- Cell service is good in the area. I have AT&T and two Hotspots one of which is Verizon and I had no problems getting out in the area
- Currently there are about 55 RV/Tent camping spots. A lot of sites have been knocked down because of Hurricane Michael
- A majority of the hiking trails are closed right now
