Right now I’m in full on flooring mode with the RV. I started by pulling everything up. Then continued that process, making a change to what I thought I would do and what I actually ended up doing. And now I’m wrapping up the final prep before doing what I came here to do and that is laying down this floor.

What I’ve noticed and have touched on before, is that everything is taking a little bit longer than I had expected. It’s just me knocking out these projects and I’m trying to do the best I can, but one thought, that creeps up every now and then is, should I have just taken a week off of work and tried to power through everything? Well that certainly is one approach, but realistically for me, probably not the best one because where I store my RV I wouldn’t have had a place to really work on it. So, while it’s taken some time, this approach has worked the best.

Here’s a look at the overall budget for this week. And yes, there is a change… a big one! I finally ordered my flooring from Home Depot and had to chunk down $396 bucks for it! Now that’s a pretty big hit to the overall numbers, but when you look at things, minus the labor costs, the reno, for all that I’m doing is coming in cheap.
