With my “New-2-Me-RV”… 2019 Winnebago Travato 59GL, I’m ready to hit the road for the first time for the “Shakedown” AND my first Arizona State Park, Catalina State Park!

Here’s the 411 on the trip: 

  • 2-nights… $50 a night, with taxes the two night total was: $103.60
  • I stayed in Loop B, site 35
  • I did have cell service, between 3-5 bars. I have AT&T

The facilities:

  • The park has 120 electric and water sites
  • Campgrounds A and B have beautiful campsites that are all electric with 20/30/50A plugins and a water hookup at $50 per night.
  • Equestrian Center camping is available with 16 horse stalls, water for the horses, and tools for horse manure cleanup for $25 per night.
  • From January 1-March 31, the Ringtail Campground is available for $25 per night (non-electric and no water hookup).
  • Campgrounds have modern flush restrooms with hot, clean showers, and RV dump stations are available in the park. There is no limit on the length of RVs at this park, but reservations are limited to 14 consecutive nights.
