SEATTLE, WA – A short while back, on a trip from Pullman, back home to Seattle I had a major issue with my batteries. They are the original batteries from 2017 and just basically ran out of steam.
So I had to make a big decision regarding what to do next and thanks a tax return refund and a little savings, I bit the bullet and did the upgrade from a traditional AGM battery to an Epoch 300AH lithium battery.
Now, I don’t have the skill to do the install, so I went to Sebastian at “Northwest Van” to do the work. Sebastian hooked me up and did a fantastic job with everything. Turns out, both of the batteries in the rig were at the the end of life and I had a falling solenoid, so pulling the trigger now made the best sense.

Just saw your video on your upgraded batteries! I recently did the same upgrade with two Epoch 300ah batteries for my 2021 Roadtrek Zion Slumber. The only thing better than one Epoch 300ah battery is two of them!! I also installed two 175 watt solar panels to help keep them charged. I can now run my ac all night and they recharge during a sunny day. You will enjoy your upgrade!!! Money well spent!!! Watching from Whidbey Island, Enjoy, Bob
Bob I debated hard over 1 or 2😂 We’ll have to see how I hold up this year with the 1. I’m just excited to see how this one does. I have 1×100 watt solar panel on top of my rig. Have to get up to your neck of the woods for some camping 😁
