BALLARD, WA – First of all, Happy Holiday’s to you and yours no matter where you are or what you celebrate. I hope you and your family have a great holiday season.

It’s also that time of the year to start worrying about cold weather and protecting your RV.  This is my first year with my “New-2-Me-RV” my 2018 Winnebago Travato 59g and the first time I’m going to winterize my rig.

In the past, when I had my Class A, aka the Death Star, I winterized my RV.  I was living in Green Bay and stored my RV for months at a time and so it made sense to do that.

Now, living in the Pacific Northwest and storing the RV outside I need to do something to protect it and especially the lines inside, so I’m doing a winterization to my Travato.  I’m also planning to take the RV out this winter, so it’s definitely important to get it right.

One of the key things you really want to keep in mind when you do your winterizing, make sure you’re using RV Antifreeze.  You don’t want to just use regular car antifreeze, you have to use antifreeze designed for RVs.

Don’t forget I’m posting
