BALLARD, WA – One of the easiest things to happen when you RV is what I like to call the, “Junk Creep.” You start off with a fresh RV and it’s all clean and empty and quickly, you start to fill it up with things you think you need and in the end, end up never using.
I am completely guilty of that and after owning my “New-2-Me-RV” my 2018 Winnebago Travato for about 8 months now, it was time for me to go through it and start to purge. Yep the “creep” got to me as well and I needed to spend some time going through my rig.
One of the first things I did, was simply empty out a lot of the cabinets and put things in IKEA bags to take home or to storage or to the trash. I needed to get a a clean palate.
Then using some organizing bins and the newly acquired space from, emptying out the cabinets, I was able to put things back in better order.

All in all, I’m happy with where things are now and I have to just be careful, not to let the “creep” creep back in. I think moving forward, every 6 months or so, I’m going to take the time to go through the rig and make sure it’s not getting too full of things I don’t really need.
