MT. BAKER-SNOQUALMIE NATIONAL FOREST, WA – I’ve been able to take my “New-2-Me-RV” my 2018 Winnebago Travato 59g to a lot of different locations so far this year and there are even more to come! This time out, I decided to head back out to another great National Forest here in the Pacific Northwest, “Clear Creek Campground,” in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
Here’s the 411 on the trip:
- 2-nights, after taxes it worked out to be $68.00 dollars or $34.00 per night
- I stayed in site 9 and it was a back in site with no hookups at all.
- I did have cell service. I have AT&T.
- The facilities: Clear Creek Campground offers 13 standard sites. Picnic tables, tent pads, campfire rings, and vault toilets are provided for guests. Visitors can access the Sauk River from the campground.
- I was easily able to book my reservation online at: https://www.recreation.gov/
According the website:
“Clear Creek Campground is located three miles south of Darrington, Washington on the Mountain Loop Highway. This is a NO WATER facility so campers will need to bring their own supply. One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. ”
Don’t forget I’m posting
