SEATTLE, WA – I am on a quest to figure out what will be my next RV rig, now that my former RV, my 2005 Winnebago Sightseer is now all paid off.

If you’re new to the channel and don’t know why I’m looking for a new rig, that’s because last year when I was trying to bring it out from Green Bay to Seattle the engine blew and it was too expensive to drop in a new engine, so I spent last year trying to pay it off so I could move on and now, I’m finally at that point.

So far I’ve talked about a possible Class C or Class B motorhomes, as well as travel trailers. Which are still really good options for me, but now I want to look outside of the box at something I hadn’t really considered until I started to do some research and see things pop up on YouTube all of the time and that’s Minivan Camping.
Based on my research and the overall “real” cost to picking up a mini van and doing a conversion to camp with, this is a very real option.
Two channels I follow and have been ever since I started to think about this are:

And…

Check them out when you get a chance and you can see that converting a minivan could be a real thing. What do you think? Should I go down that rout?
Don’t forget I’m posting new videos EVERY Sunday!

🤗😉 thanks
The minivan/SUV options seem to be popular now. Might be interesting to try. (I follow the “SUV RVing” channel. He’s doing fine with only an SUV. )
An option that I’ve had in mind for a long time is to buy an older, empty cargo van, throw a portable power pack, portable fridge and cot in the back and head out. Forget about a fancy buildout.
The cargo van is one I’ve looked at and not sure I could handle now because doing a full build out in a condo might be hard.
My Crosstrek is close to an SUV. I’ll have to see if I can find the channel you mentioned though. Thanks for sharing 😊
