SEATTLE, WA – The cross country move from Green Bay Wisconsin to Seattle Washington is complete! It was a long drive, but a very pretty drive. On the way, I was able to stop at a couple of really cool spots and when I bring my RV out soon, I put a couple of mental “pins” in my brain for possible places to crash on the way.
You know this final part of the drive was the first time I kind of let myself really start to think about the new job… the new city… the new adventure. The first part of the drive was really about closing up in Green Bay and hitting the road.
The second part of the drive was really about knocking out some long miles and taking it all in when I had a chance to.
Now this last part is about bringing it all home and embracing what will be new.
When I decided on where I wanted to live in Seattle, I searched for someplace downtown so that I could really absorb what Seattle is all about. There were and are still protocols to be mindful of, however for me at the same time, being in the heart of everything is extremely important.
There are still a lot of things I have to prepare for, for THIS upcoming RV season. I have to figure out where I’m going to park my RV? When I can fly back to pick up my RV and bring ti back across the country? And when/where/and how I’ll start exploring the Pacific Northwest.
The good part is, I don’t have to do it alone, I’ll be doing it with all of you as I check out my new home location and share the experiences with you all.
