GREEN BAY, WI – So I’ve already laid out my “Top 5 Reasons to go RVing Over Car Camping”. Now, it’s time to flip the switch and give you my “Top 5 Reasons to go Car Camping over RVing.” Without a doubt, making both lists were very difficult.

|TOP 5 REASONS TO GO RVING OVER CAR CAMPING

This week, 5 Reasons to go Car Camping over RVing:

THE TOP 5 REASONS TO GO CAR CAMPING OVER RVING!

5. “WHERE TO START? THERE’S A CHANNEL FOR THAT!”

Very much like when I started to RV, I went online…& spent a ton of time of YouTube to learn about car camping and yep it turns out, someone somewhere has probably car camped in your exact vehicle! Check the spots out… learn what you can… “homage” what you can to make your own car camping experience great and then just get out there and do it!

4. “CHEFFING-IT-UP OUTSIDE!”

There is something about setting up shop outside and cooking. I have a little Coleman stove which I love and doing it all outside is fun. You don’t have to dumb it down because you’re cooking out of a car.  You know my motto… “no need to eat poorly on the road” and that means car camping as well!

3. “EMBRACING THE JOURNEY”

When you’re car camping I feel like you can embrace the journey a little more than in a traditional RV. On your way to state park or wherever you’re camping, you can easily pull over and check out funky places like a cool diner or fruit stand.

Those fun little spots add to whole experience getting out in your car and having fun.

2. “YOU’RE ALREADY GOOD TO GO!”

A lot of folks have vehicles… a car or ruck or van.  If you have something like that, you already have just about everything you need to get started. Sure there are a couple of items that you can pick up and add to your experience, but right now I bet you have the tools for being a great car camper just by looking around the house and throwing it into your ride.

1. “YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE YOU WANT”

You have the flexibility to go literally wherever you want in your car to explore!

My RV is a Class A… Under 30 feet, which is what I wanted at 29 feet, but it’s still a big chore to drive it someplace… set up and since I don’t have a “Toad”… a Tow vehicle… once I park I’m there.

Car Camping allows me the chance to set up and tear down quickly. Or to even keep my base camp set up, while I go explore a state park or nearby areas.

That flexibility is the number one thing I really enjoy about Car Camping!

Both Car camping and RVing are fun and you can do both! It just depends on how you want to get out and explore! In the end, it really is more about creating/having memories than the vehicle you’re in.
