GREEN BAY, WI – I have been working hard to try to find a way to fix my roof on my RV ever since it blew off. I mean this is supposed to be the time of year, when I’m out and about, exploring state parks and places to RV. If you look back at some of the top spots I hit up in 2020, you can see why I want to be out there.

Let’s reset quickly for those who haven’t been following along, I tried to take out my RV for the very first time of the year and on my way to “Devil’s Lake State Park,” my roof blew off of my RV

It was a big blow, but I was able to get it back to Green Bay and then I was on the hunt right away to fix it. The first thing I did was contact my insurance agency and I have to tell you, they were amazing! I’m not affiliated with them in any way, shape or form, I just pay my premiums, however “Geico” has been awesome to deal with.
They took my photos, we talked and in the matter of a couple of days, they had approved the replacement. It was as easy as that.
After getting approved, I searched high and low to try to find someone locally who could fix & replace the roof. I searched up to 300 miles and really couldn’t find someone who could do the work. I did go down the road with one company, however after going back and forth, they couldn’t do it in the end. So I continued looking around, listening to some of the advice the folks that follow me suggested and after a long bit of research, I opted to go with “RV Armor.” Their customer service, price and warranty were the main reasons I decided to go with them.
Now here’s the catch… because of the pandemic and back orders, despite the fact that they come to you to fix the RV, they can’t get me into the schedule until August!
So that means until I can get the RV fixed, I’ll continue to little projects around the RV that I will share with you, like, REPLACING THE RV MIRROR

Now, it’s only March and I love exploring so being without my RV for the next four months is not going to cut it. So, next week… I have an even BIGGER surprise for you that I think you’ll enjoy!

You can’t put a rubber or roll on roof on your rig it requires the fiberglass roof that seals into the roof side rails.
Look at AZ Expert on YouTube and he replaces the roofs on your style rig all the time.
Thanks… I’ll looking into it all😊
David suggestion why are waiting go online and check out all the collision centers that deal with motor homes in your area. I recently put my coach in the shop. Camping word was the same way. A month before I get in and a month to fix it. But I went with a collision center that has done this work before. And they said they should have done in a few weeks.. I to shout out to geico. My roof came to 12995 bucks!!!! Just I have to pay my deductible 500. There gonna put on the same type of fibreglass but a bit thicker. I looked into armour coating just for a sealant. But it’s worth a try to a word of suggestion.
