Getting into the RV world for me has been a long process. I’d been looking at RV’s for years. I love the whole, “Tiny House,” movement and to an extent, RV living is an offshoot of that, especially those who get to live in them full time.
So when the opportunity finally came about 6 months ago to jump in and purchase a rig, I was all into it. My first RV, a 2004 Winnebago, Itasca Spirit Class C was amazing and I loved it!
We hit the road running and travelled all over Florida. It truly was a great learning RV and for the most part I had plans on keeping that for years to come.
But then… as I’ve mentioned in the past, “Crazy came a calling!” An opportunity to get into a smaller Class A RV, with slide outs and more space that one day I COULD live fulltime in, came up and I jumped at it! So 6 months in I went from not owning an RV to owning two! I traded my Class C in on the Class A and now I have a wonderful “New-2-Me-RVJedeye Mobile”
In this Vlog Episode, you get to see the inside and out of the new rig. It’s also the first part of a new series that will be coming up on the channel, as I get ready to do some renovations! Hope you like the video and the rig and as usual share if you like and can.
I started watching YouTube videos way back when, when I was looking for an RV and thinking about doing RV renovations, so when I started my journey I wanted to help out others who may have been thinking about getting an RV as well. My promise to myself and you has always been to show the good and the bad… in a way this is my small way of paying those folks I followed back and putting some coins in the Karma Bank as well.
Thanks for opening my (jed)eyes to the Sightseer! I’ve been looking for something to move up to from my 22′ Class C, and this unit seems to have everything I need. Enjoying your adventures!

It’s been a really good rig. I’ve never wanted anything TOO big, like being nimble 😊

Very nice! We have been camping for 38 years. VW camper when our children were very young then moved to large tent as they grew. Eventually we bought a class C similar to yours and progressed to a 37 ft class A. We our now in our 3rd motorhome a 36 ft diesel pusher. We travel south from Illinois to winter in Florida. We have loved every minute of our journeys. It has been so much fun following you as you discover the fun of rving. Hope we cross paths someday, happy travels!

Roger that! (Too corny? 😀) Sounds like you guys really have embraced the lifestyle. So far it’s been really fun for me. At some point, fulltime is probably in my future, but until then I’m doing as much as I can😀 Thank you so much for following along with the ride!

I could really use some extra storage bays for all my tailgating gear! Can’t wait until I upgrade in about a year or so. Have fun and can’t wait to see what you do for the renovations!
