Hitting the road to explore another new spot for me. When I go out, I really try to find new locations every time out and when I say a new location, it’s a new location to me. So this time out, we’ll be checking out another Washington State Park, this time it’s “Paradise Point State Park”:
Here’s the 411 on the trip:
- 2-nights… $50 a night, with taxes the two night total was: $100.00
- I stayed in site 14
- I did have cell service, between 2-3 bars. I have AT&T.
- I watched 2 movies during my stay for an overall movie count in 2025 of: 12
- “American Movie”
- ”Shaft” The original version
The facilities:
- The park has 18 utility campsites, 49 standard campsites, 10 primitive campsites, two yurts (reservable year round), one dump station, two restrooms, four ADA restrooms and four showers (two ADA).
- Some of the campsites are in a grassy area, and the primitive sites are in the woods. Maximum site length is 40 feet (limited availability).
- Campsites may be reserved between May 15 and Sept.
I did book a reservation online at: https://washington.goingtocamp.com
According the website:
“Paradise Point State Park is a camping park conveniently located off Interstate 5, on the Lewis River. The park features a sandy riverfront swimming area, campsites in meadows and woodsy areas as well as a disc golf course.”
