GREEN BAY, WI – 2021 has been an amazing year. Yes, it started off a little rough when my RV roof blew off and for awhile I thought I was done with camping. However, thanks to the internet, YouTube and a little exploration, I discovered “Car-Camping” and I have loved it!
Now one of the things I do at the end of every year with my RV, is share some of my top spots for the year. It’s just a little recap of some of the places and why I loved spending time there.
With me doing a lot of car camping this year, I decided to do a special list, just for car camping spots.
So here are my “Top Car Camping Spots for 2021!”:
#3… “Peninsula State Park”…
Here is the 411 on the trip:
- I stayed there 2 nights, where after taxes it worked out to be $47.75 per night… They did give me a $20 credit for the 1 night.
- I stayed in site #194… It was easy to get into. The bathroom location was about a minute walk or so from the site. It was a big site, lot’s of sun

#2… “Point Beach State Forest”…
Here is the nitty gritty on the trip:
- I stayed there 2 nights, where after taxes it worked out to be $23.87 per night
- I stayed in site #49… It was easy to get into. It is also next to an “out house” or bathroom

#1… “Harrington Beach State Park”…
Here is the 411 on the trip:
- I stayed there 1 night, where after taxes it worked out to be $37.75 per night
- I stayed in site #101… It was easy to get into. The bathroom location was about 3-4 minute walk or so from the site. It was a big site, the fire pit & picnic table are located above the parking area
