WABENO, WI – What You Need to Know About Free RV Camping in Wisconsin at least when it comes to Casino camping, this is what I learned.

It was something totally new for me, something I had heard about for years, but hadn’t had the chance to do. I’ve stayed at a lot of different places, some overnight for free, but didn’t know what it would be like doing it in an RV at a Casino.

|HOW TO OVERNIGHT RV CAMP AT “CRACKER BARREL”

The drive up to Potawatomi Carter Hotel & Casino was a very nice drive. A little over an hour and forty minutes from Green Bay, it’s great for a quick weekend getaway if gambling is your thing.

At the time I was there, they had started to ease some of their masking restrictions, although now I don’t know if they’ve gone back to previous mandates.

The location of the Casino is a great spot for someone doing a quick overnight or if you want a couple of days to unwind before heading to your next location.

As for the RV spots at the casino, here’s the deal: 

  • I stayed there 1 night,  had it reserved for 2, but ended up leaving early, so the cost was free!
  • I stayed in site #5… It was easy to get into, a pull through with electric and a trash can outside.
  • Cell service was strong for me in the area. I have AT&T.
  • There are about 23 overall sites to park
  • There is a dump station available and potable water.
  • According the casino site:

“The sites are filled on a first come, first served basis. You must register at Guest Services inside the casino. Using the RV parking spots includes complimentary electric hookup as well as the travel trailer dump station. Currently, we have 20 RV parking sites. Upon arrival, guests can select any open site. ”
