No matter where I go, I always love to explore the location. If they’re known for something, I’m all over it and in this case the Florida Caverns State Park in Marianna Florida is known for their Caverns, so you know I’ve got to check this out!”
Now…
One of the things I really remember when I did this tour is that it was hike down to the caverns from where the RV campsites were. I love a good hike, however getting down there all I could think about was… yep I’m going to have to come all of the way back.
Now once I was inside the caverns it was absolutely gorgeous and really cool. I remember thinking, what if something happens and we get trapped. That didn’t happen, but licking some rocks inside the cavern… you betcha… that DID happen and it was silly but fun!
