RVing at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park with RVJedeye

I love a great State Park when you can roll in and it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, just outside of Gainesville is just the place.

It’s a beautiful park with 50 RV/Camping sites. They’re all pretty easy to get in and out of. Cell service is good. There was a power outage when I was there, but the park jumped right on it and fixed it right away. My Camco surge protector did the job, protecting my RV.There are trails all over to hike, which you know is one of my favorite things to do when I get to a park. I just hit on a couple while I was there, but there is definitely a lot to do.

I was there in July of 2019 and stayed 6 nights, which broke down, with taxes to $21.27 per night, so a great value!
