How to choose a hiking boot, is one of the most important things you can do if you’re out and about hiking a lot. 
For me, every time I roll up on an RV spot, I’m looking to get my hike-on.
So that’s why, when I ruined my boots hiking at Reed Bingham State Park in Georgia, I needed to jump, quick, fast and in a hurry to get a new pair.
And if I’m being honest and I try to be here all of the time, the was also part of the problem. I jumped quickly and picked up an inexpensive pair of boots, High Sierra. I took them out for a test drive at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and they were just OK.
You want to make sure you find a pair that gives you proper support, especially with your ankles. You want to make sure you have durable pair of boots, because you never fully know what king of conditions you’ll be hiking in, You also want to make sure they don’t take a long time to break in. If your boots are too stiff right off of the bat, you’re not going to want to use them as much. And finally, you want to find a pair of boots that has everything I just mentioned, in a budget that fits your wallet. Do you’re research and you won’t have to spend a fortune finding the right boots.
After my trip out with the new kicks, I knew I still needed something better for my feet, so on a random Saturday, I found myself at Bass Pro Shops and picked up a pair of Red Head, Skyline Boots. They felt great in the store and I couldn’t wait to get them out on the road. According to their website:

These boots are great and I simply love them. I’ve used them now, several times and they are just perfect for my feet. Again, because I hike so much, I wanted a really solid pair of hiking boots and these fit the bill to a “T.”

Those shoes look like a great choice for hiking. Keeping the ankles supported is a great idea when walking on uneven ground!
