During one of my recent trips, I got to see: Deers, Snakes, Alligators Oh MY, RVing at Stephen C. Foster St. Park in Georgia. 
Now, in the middle of the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge, I expected to see a lot of nature and some animals, but never this many up close and personal.
I do a lot of hiking, every place I go… it’s apart of my RV experience always. Usually, I just get to see some really cool spots. The pics are great and the workout even better.
But this time, I got to see a lot of animals really close. Nothing TOO close for comfort, but still close enough to remind you how important being aware of your surrounds are when you’re on a hike and more importantly when you’re RVing in general. Where I like to RV… mostly State Parks, you’re sharing your space with the wildlife, so you always want to be respectful of it.

It’s important to live the indigenous creatures alone. They were here first 🙂 But seriously, the gators, et al, that you find in the Florida parks are protected species for the most part, and should always be viewed from afar. The danger in getting too close (in addition to being eaten) is that they can become accustomed to humans and therefore become a nuisance animal, which might mean that they will be put down, unfortunately. So take your pics from afar, and all is well. Thanks for the video, David.
