RVing at Stephen C. Foster St. Park in Georgia hit the spot for sure! It’s a beautiful state park inside the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge about 2 and half East of Tallahassee.One of the best kept secrets of RVing is, if you can do it in the middle of the week, it’s great because there are barely any folks in the parks. During my stay in early June, there was only one other camper at the park, so it felt like I had everything to myself.There are some hiking trails and places to boat when we you come to the park. There’s also a play area that had a jungle gym for the kids and “Corn-hole” boards built into the play area.In 2016 it was designated as a “Dark Sky” Park, by the International Dark Sky Association, meaning it is an ideal location for stargazing.

Cell service is horrible, but you still CAN get some service and some over the air channels on your antenna for television.

The cost to stay when I was there: $37.81 a night with taxes.
