Rolled up to the front door and “Boom,” a package lying in wait. And it was not just ANY package, but my new “Camco Circut analyzer with the power grip handles.”

For those unfamiliar with these bad boys how about this… It’s a surge protector for your RV.
Basically you plug this piece of equipment into the electric at the camp, if you’re staying at an RV camp and then you plug your rig into it.

It checks things like: Correct wiring, open ground, reverse polarity and several other things. It also helps protect your overall RV from voltage spikes.

I went online and researched a lot of these before pulling the trigger on Amazon. The reviews were good and the price was right. I’ll let you know how it turns out after I use it.

Oh the one thing that I read over and over and want to make sure I pass along… Plug your surge protector in first, check the readings to make sure everything is good, THEN plug your RV in. Sounds like pretty good advice, so I’m sticking to it.

For those of you who’ve RV’d before what kind of “Surge Protector” do you use and how do you like it?
